1. PARTIES AND SCOPE

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Tribün mobile application ("App") provided by its developer, Mervan Yuşa Torlak, a natural person ("Tribün", "we").

By creating an account or using the App you accept these Terms. How we process your personal data is explained separately in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK Information Notice. Those texts are for your information; reading them is not a consent to processing.

2. THE SERVICE

Tribün lets you keep the football matches and stadiums you have been to as a collection:

  • "Proven" visits, unlocked on match day at the stadium with the App's live camera,
  • "Archive" entries for past matches,
  • friends, a feed, "I'm going" and "I'm at the stadium" notifications,
  • leaderboards, badges, missions and a season summary.

Match, score, kick-off and stadium data are fetched automatically from a third-party data provider (API-Football). This data may be late, incomplete or wrong. The App has no betting, score prediction, ticket sales, comments or messaging.

The App is currently free. If a paid feature or a sponsored campaign is added, separate terms will be published for it.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

3.1 Sign-up. You need an account to use the App. You sign up with an e-mail address and a password, with Google or, on iPhone, with Apple. If you sign up with an e-mail address and a password, you confirm the address through the link we send before your first sign-in.

3.2 Age. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 and the law where you live requires it, you should use the App with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

3.3 Account security. Use a correct e-mail address, open one account only, keep your password to yourself and do not transfer your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else used it, change your password at once and write to us.

3.4 Username. Usernames that impersonate someone, are insulting, hateful, sexual or misleading, or infringe someone's trademark are not allowed. Some names are reserved. You can change your username once every 7 days. We may ask you to change, or change, a username that breaks these rules.

4. PROVEN VISITS AND GAME RULES

  • A gold "Proven" box only opens with a photo taken with the App's live camera on match day, within about 1 km of the stadium and within the match window (it opens 3 hours before kick-off and closes 2 hours after the final whistle). Proven visits cannot use a photo from your gallery.
  • Your location and the time are checked on our server. Each visit has exactly one photo.
  • Faking proof with spoofed GPS, emulators, automation tools, someone else's account or a photo from another match is forbidden. We may then void the visits concerned, remove them from leaderboards and badges, and suspend or close the account.
  • Archive entries rely on your own statement and do not count for leaderboards, badges or missions.
  • Leaderboards, badges and missions are for fun; they create no right to money, prizes or anything else. We may change their rules. If there is a sponsored badge or a campaign with prizes, separate terms will be published for it.

5. CONTENT AND PHOTO RULES

The photos you upload (proof, archive and profile photos) and your username are your content, and you are responsible for them. Every photo is checked automatically before it is published, and by a moderator when needed.

Not published:

  • nudity and sexual content,
  • blood, serious injury and gore,
  • hate symbols,
  • political banners, slogans and signs,
  • content that harasses, humiliates or threatens someone or discloses their personal information,
  • content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or personality rights, or is otherwise unlawful.

Allowed (the usual sight in the stands): flares and pyrotechnics, shirtless fans, the middle finger. This does not mean we endorse these; complying with Turkish Law No. 6222 on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports and the stadium's rules is your responsibility.

We may refuse to publish or remove content that breaks these rules, void the visit concerned or suspend the account. Details are on the "Photo rules" page in the App.

Other people naturally appear in photos of the stands, but do not share photos that target or humiliate someone. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, report it or write to us.

6. THE LICENCE YOU GIVE US FOR YOUR CONTENT

You own your photos and content. You allow us, only as far as needed to run the App, to store your content, create a thumbnail, have it checked automatically and by people, show it in the App according to the visibility rules and use it on story and season summary cards. This licence is free of charge and non-transferable; it may only be passed on to our service providers for these purposes, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content for advertising or marketing without your permission.

7. VISIBILITY AND SHARING

  • Your username and profile photo are visible to all users. Your place on the country (e.g. Türkiye) and club leaderboards and your number of proven stadiums are visible too; appearing on these leaderboards also indirectly shows your country and which club you support.
  • Your club, national team, city, visits, photos, plans and "I'm at the stadium" check-ins are visible only to your friends. People who are not your friends only see your username and profile photo on your profile; on the leaderboards they see your place and your number of proven stadiums.
  • If you share your story card or season summary in another app, that post is subject to that app's rules.

8. FRIENDS, REPORTS AND BLOCKING

  • Friendship is mutual: you send a request, the other person accepts.
  • "Find from contacts" only works with hashes of the e-mail addresses in your contacts, computed on your phone; no text messages are sent.
  • You can report content or a user that breaks the rules and block anyone. Our moderators review reports. A visit reported by three different people is hidden until the review is done.
  • False reports and mass or harassing friend requests are forbidden.

9. FORBIDDEN CONDUCT

When using the App you must not:

  • reverse engineer, copy or modify the software,
  • use bots, automation or scraping tools,
  • try to get around security measures, usage limits or moderation,
  • access someone else's account or create an account in someone else's name,
  • send excessive requests that disrupt the service,
  • use the App for advertising, spam or commercial purposes,
  • use it for any unlawful purpose.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App's software, design, texts and logo belong to us. Club, league and stadium names belong to their owners; the App does not use club crests. Tribün is not affiliated with or endorsed by any club, league, federation or API-Football.

11. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND OUTAGES

We may add, change or remove features to improve the App. There may be outages for maintenance, updates or because of our service providers. If we remove an important feature, we will try to announce it a reasonable time in advance.

12. CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT

  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account. Your visits, photos, badges and friendships are deleted permanently; this cannot be undone.
  • If you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms we may suspend or close your account. Where possible we will tell you in advance and give the reason. You can object by writing to info@tribundeyiz.com.

13. LIABILITY

  • Going to stadiums, your safety there and your conduct are your responsibility. Watch your surroundings when using the App and follow the instructions of stewards and the stadium management.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays or errors in match data, distance calculations or notifications.
  • Liability for intent and gross negligence and your rights under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are not affected (Article 115 of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098).

14. APP STORES

If you downloaded the App from the App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the App's content, maintenance or support.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms. We will announce material changes in the App or by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept them you can delete your account; continuing to use the App after the effective date means you accept the changes.

16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by Turkish law. For consumer matters, Consumer Arbitration Committees have jurisdiction within the statutory monetary limits and Consumer Courts above them. For other disputes the general jurisdiction rules of the Turkish Code of Civil Procedure No. 6100 apply. Consumers living in the European Union keep the rights given to them by the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence.
